Sorry I’m stepping. Just so you know if I had to meet you one day, if I don’t call you ma’am you’ll be aunty. I call every Black woman over a certain age -understand older than me- “tantine” which means aunty. It’s because I feel familiar and close to them. Especially when they’re African, and I respect them.
