Great article about the praxis to being an adaptable teacher.

Two of the most important things that I think you touched on with regards to being a great teach is being comfortable and not assuming certain students environments.

I think many teachers struggle in not being relatable to students which results in many going in opposite direction of being strict.

Also I think that many teachers especially at the university level categorize everyone in the same environment when it couldn’t any further from the truth. Understanding and being supportive of the abnormal life of many students is crucial to being a successful teacher.
