[Movie Review] Godzilla vs. Kong (2021)

One of the most anticipated films of 2021, with such an incredible trailer, this blockbuster certainly did not disappoint!

CGI is mind-blowing, especially the showdown between Kong & Godzilla in the city at night.

The way the storyline unfolded for both Protagonists to work together in destroying Mecha-Godzilla, is hugely similar to how Batman & Superman joining hands to defeat the antagonist.

While the focus of this film is more of the animation and visual effects, it was pleasing to see Shun Oguri, of Hana Yori Dango fame, to appear in a Hollywood movie!

While it is good to have some familiar faces like Millie Bobby Brown & Ken Watanabe back, what I wished to see are the past “Avengers” actors from the earlier prequels, Aaron Taylor-Johnson & Elizabeth Olsen from Godzilla, as well as Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson & Samuel L. Jackson from Kong: Skull Island!

If there is a sequel for this MonsterVerse, it would be amazing if the 5th movie in this franchise would bring back all these talents.
