A Unified Time Travel Theory For Star Trek

I’m not a Star Trek nerd, so I have no alternate theories to expound upon, nor anything coming close to the knowledge you, Neoteotihuacan, have. I found your time-travel essay interesting, nonetheless; thank you! Nice job.

When someone explains esoteric knowledge in a fun and comprehensible way, to an outsider to their realm, it is always interesting, and worth the time invested in reading, I believe.

I think my knowledge about Star Trek is interesting, to me. Let’s see if it transfers, or whether you’re sorry to have read my response. The mundane is that I have noticed that the nerd physicists with huge egos and beautiful girlfriends on The Big Bang television show are Treksperts.

More personal, I have fuzzy first-memories type memory of my mother allowing me to stay up and watch an “adult” television program at 9 pm Central time, when I was a child living near St. Louis. The rather secretive feeling, my mother’s permission felt furtive, has made Star Trek, the series from the sixties, remain nostalgic, for me.

Then I was literally imprisoned for five years, and because my cell mate for three years wanted to, I began to watch the Captain Piquard (perhaps most notable was Counselor Troy, in a male, American, state prison) Star Trek, The Next Generation. I believe I have watched every episode.

After prison (side note: I participated in the losing side of America’s War on Drugs, from my birth in 1960 until 1996, when I completed my five year prison stint), I watched a Star Trek movie in a theater. Maybe two movies, I don’t remember well, but they were enjoyable.

Thank you for your essay about your effort to integrate the science, physics/time travel of all the incarnations of S. Trek. You took me down Memory Lane, USA, today!
