Shelly Is Too Comfortable With the Thermostat

Shelly, my mother-in-law who has been living with me and my husband for the last 35 days, 4 hours, and 20 some odd minutes, is too comfortable with touching the thermostat. Since we have an extended house guest, I try to be more modest than when it was just me and my husband. It’s almost instinctual for me to walk in the door while taking off my pants and bra. My preference is for the thermostat to be approximately 74 degrees because at 74 degrees, I can wear just about anything and still be comfortable.

Shelly’s thermostat preference is set to the temperature inferno.

Currently, the thermostat in the house is set to 84 degrees. Shelly is currently wearing flannel pajama bottoms, a long sleeve shirt and a hoodie with thick socks. I am TRYING to be modest and all I can think about is walking around scantly clad. Maybe, just maybe if I do, we will get to keep the thermostat set to temperatures in the 70’s.
