Development Log 1

We would like to begin this dev log by thanking everyone who is taking the time to read this. Every single holder of Sheesh today is greatly valued. The team knows that some mistakes have been made, and we hope this dev log will help steer the ship back in the proper direction.

Agile Methodology

The dev team decided it was time to really begin taking the development of our projects seriously, and the first step was to lay out a professional plan and model for executing each phase in a timely manner. We elected to use the Agile methodology.

For those unfamiliar with Agile, it is a development method that breaks down a large project into smaller, more manageable, sprints that all end with a deliverable. (Prior to sprint 1, we had already completed the UI for the NFT raffle, but it had not been coded and integrated with the solidity contracts.) Our team decided on 7 sprints:

• Sprint 1: Minting function (coding)
• Sprint 2: Minting UI integration with the minting code
• Sprint 3: Marketplace Contracts (coding)
• Sprint 4: Marketplace UI integration with marketplace contracts
• Sprint 5: Raffle Contracts (coding)
• Sprint 6: Raffle UI integration with marketplace contracts
• Sprint 7: Advertising contracts and integration (Can be released after raffle release since this is simply used for additional revenue generation)

Where are we now?

We are happy to announce that the team is almost done with sprint 2. The minting function is complete and functioning, and it is currently being integrated with the UI. We are hoping to have this piece fully integrated between August 2–5.

With sprint 2, the NFT minting function UI integration, nearing completion, the team would like to have a showcase of the work on our Twitch channel. This brings us to the reopening of all social channels.

Reopening Sheesh Socials

The Sheesh dev team believes we are now at a good space to begin reopening our social channels. We have had some good community members come forward to assist in the reopening, and we greatly appreciate that help. Moderation of a Telegram and Discord are not easy. We understand upon reopening that there is a good chance of toxicity. We are setting the foundation now that slander and toxicity will not be tolerated upon reopening of the socials. We will allow airing of grievances, but if mods believe you are going too far, then bans will happen.

With all of that being said, Telegram and Discord will be reopened fully on August 9th. Following that, we will have a stream later that week to showcase our progress with the project. The NFT raffle is going to be released. It is not an if but a when.
