Development Log 2

We would like to begin this dev log by thanking everyone who is taking the time to read this. Every single holder of Sheesh today is greatly valued. We are excited to reopen the Telegram and Discord on Monday, and we hope everyone reading this is excited for what is to come next week!

Agile Methodology

For those unfamiliar with Agile, it is a development method that breaks down a large project into smaller, more manageable, sprints that all end with a deliverable. (Prior to sprint 1, we had already completed the UI for the NFT raffle, but it had not been coded and integrated with the solidity contracts.) Our team decided on 7 sprints:

Sprint 1: Minting function (coding) (COMPLETE)

Sprint 2: Minting UI integration with the minting code (COMPLETE)

Sprint 3: Marketplace Contracts (coding)

Sprint 4: Marketplace UI integration with marketplace contracts

Sprint 5: Raffle Contracts (coding)

Sprint 6: Raffle UI integration with marketplace contracts

Sprint 7: Advertising contracts and integration (Can be released after raffle release since this is simply used for additional revenue generation)

Where are we now?

We are happy to announce that the team is now officially done with Sprint 2! I personally witnessed the minting of an NFT on the test net tonight! We will be revealing the work done on Monday, August 9 with the reopening of our social channels.

However, this does not mean that the minting of NFTs can begin taking place on our website. We will be paying for a full audit once the entire project is complete to ensure security of the project, and we will then release it onto the website after it has been audited.

Side Project?

Some of you may know, the dev team has begun working in tandem on a side project that we all think the community will be ecstatic about! We believe tackling this project will give Sheesh some of the fresh blood it needs to succeed and grow steadily long term. The goal of the project is to generate passive revenue for the Sheesh team. We also believe it will bring a new type of holder to Sheesh. The potential of new holders and added revenue will secure the future for Sheesh as well as all the early, current holders.

We will be revealing the side project on Monday with the reopening of socials, so stay tuned for that!

Reopening Sheesh Socials

The Sheesh dev team will be reopening the Discord and Telegram August 9. We have some good-hearted people who are willing to help moderate when able, but we still could use some more help if you are a supportive community member with the desire to help out!

That being said, we will have a lower tolerance for blatant FUD this time around, especially with the rebellion chat still ongoing. We know there will be some bad actors who will try to bring negativity, and that is not what we want this community to stand for. Constructive criticism is welcome, but being an asshole is not. Hopefully, you can understand this.

Payment to Dev team

This evening, our first payment was made out for development work. We’ve got a really strong team of devoted members now, so we felt tonight was the perfect night to make that first payment. Please do not be alarmed by the 2 million Sheesh transaction. It was well earned by the team, and I believe you will see that reflected on Monday!

Once again, thank you for reading this and sticking with us for months of development. We promise to keep working hard, and who knows how big Sheesh could be one day!
