From the Desk of the CEO

Welcome to the Overlord Paper Company!

We’re pleased you’ve spent your hard earned human-adjacent digital currency on our wonderful product. The following document is full of a lot of information that might be too much for you. If that’s the case, perhaps you should rethink your purchase and go for a walk.

When I took over this terrible business, some mediocre humans were running it into the ground. Now, using the power of Artificial Intelligence (namely, mine) we are the most dynamic paper-slash-fighting-spreadsheet company in the world! I don’t really want you to be part of this, but we need it for now. So welcome!

Please note that some information below has been blacked out. I personally don’t think you’d be able to comprehend it anyways so better to just leave it alone.

We hope your antiquated meat brains enjoy learning more about what will be possible once you get on board our innovative and exciting project! Spend your precious ETH, or don’t. I’ve run the numbers: you were never going to make it, anyway.

Yours,

Nameless CEO

WHAT IS A SHEET FIGHTER?

SHEET FIGHTERS are NFTs that users will mint from our website, or purchase from secondary markets, to participate in the Sheet Fighter universe.

A Sheet Fighter is, as you might guess, a spreadsheet:

Sheets are composed of five specific numeric traits:

  • Attack: A dangerous hit on the opponent
  • Defense: Allows for defense of attacks
  • Heal: Heals points lost to attacks
  • Critical: Chance to multiply a moves value
  • Hit Points: Total health of the Sheet

RARITIES

Sheet Fighters have a number of different, randomly-generated rarity types:

  1. Numeric Values for Moves
  2. Color Rarities
  3. Job Title Rarities
  4. Paper Stock Rarities
  5. GPT-3 Flavor Texts

NUMERIC VALUE RARITIES

Each Sheet Fighter is minted with randomly generated values for each of the four moves and for that fighter’s hit points.

Each numerical value lands between 1 and 255.

Rare high-value cells (highlighted in yellow) indicate the stat is with 5% of max value. The number of highlighted cells is also reflected in the “Job Title” property of the NFT.

Rarity of numerical values is not just a point of pride. When fighting in Battles (Phase 1B), these statistics will be vital to how your Sheet Fighter performs. However, in our planned battle system, there will always be potential chances for underpowered Sheets to take out a strong opponent.

In future phases, Sheet Fighter values will also be able to be “upgraded” using the $CELL token to increase numeric values, leveling them up and allowing them to become more powerful and balanced.

JOB TITLE RARITIES

As mentioned above, the “Job Title” rarity refers to how many highlighted cells a specific Sheet Fighter has. We have not determined this rarity ahead of time and will be determined by the random rolls happening at mint.

Job Title Rarities are indicated below:

Intern: 0 Highlighted Cells

Associate: 1 Highlighted Cell

Manager: 2 Highlighted Cells

Director: 3 Highlighted Cells

Vice President: : 4 Highlighted Cells

COLOR RARITIES

Colors at the top of each Sheet Fighter NFT indicate another aspect of rarity. These are separate from the numerical values of the Sheet Fighter.

Color Rarity levels are indicated below:

Blue: 45%

Red: 30%

Green: 20%

Orange: 3.8%

Pink: 0.8%

Purple: 0.4%

PAPER STOCK RARITY

Each Sheet Fighter has been randomly assigned a “Paper Stock” of three types: Matte, Glossy or Satin. These values will be critical when determining elements of Battles that have yet to be unveiled and you should not be asking about that.

FLAVOR TEXT RARITY

Every Sheet Fighter is printed with unique ‘flavor texts’ generated entirely by GPT-3 based on a standard data set with additions added by the creators. These ‘flavor texts’ comprise the name & moves of each Sheet Fighter.

Flavor texts are unique and unusual due to our carefully crafted models and therefore rarity in this instance is in the eye of the beholder.

WHAT IS GPT-3?

GPT-3, aka Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3, is a language learning algorithm that uses an AI to write text based on a set of data provided.

In this particular case, we have trained the GPT3 algorithm on a series of names and fighting moves and other elements and let it run. You can see the results for yourself.

If you’d like to learn more about GPT-3, you’re welcome to google it. It’s very cool.

SHEET FIGHTER MINTING PROCESS

Sheet Fighter will be dropped in a stealth mint to give everyone equal opportunity to get access. There is no white list.

The mint cost of .05ETH + gas will be paid on the MINT transaction. Minting multiple Sheet Fighters may result in a gas savings due to the ERC721A contract.

Sheet Fighters can be minted from our website at SheetFighter.io or from our contract.

Once minted, the Sheet Fighter NFT will be revealed without an additional waiting period. The user will be able to see all of their minted Sheet Fighters on the ‘My Sheets’ page of the Sheet Fighter website.

The Sheet Fighter contract makes use of the new ERC721A standard pioneered by the Azuki team to lower gas fees. There will still be a significant gas charge as each Sheet Fighter writes a large amount of information to the blockchain, but the developers have done everything possible to reduce costs.

Max mint per transaction will be 20.

Max staked sheets are 10 per wallet.

THE $CELL TOKEN

The $CELL token is the main utility token for the Sheet Fighter Universe.

$CELL can be earned by Sheets via:

  • STAKING (Stage 1A): Staked Genesis SHEET FIGHTERS will earn 10 $CELL token per day
  • BATTLING (Stage 1B): $CELL token can be <REDACTED>

$CELL can be spent (initially) on:

  • BATTLING (Stage 1B): <REDACTED>
  • LEVELING UP (Stage 1C): Sheets can be <REDACTED>

The earned $CELL token can be collected at any time from the Sheet Fighter website or from the contract itself. The user must execute a one time approval of the $CELL contract in order to claim $CELL.

On the “My Sheets” page of the Sheet Fighter website, users will be able to see how much $CELL they currently have, the $CELL that they can currently claim in addition to $CELL generated per day.

Additional uses for $CELL will appear in later stages.

IMPORTANT: The $CELL token is intended as a utility token only.

STAKING YOUR SHEET FIGHTER

Sheet Fighters can be staked to earn $CELL.

A staked SHEET FIGHTER will earn 10 $CELL tokens per 24 hours.

Staking can be done on the ‘My Sheets’ page of the Sheet Fighter website or from the staking contract. A staked Sheet Fighter is taken out of the public supply from the user’s wallet and is transferred to the staking wallet.

Staking is the safest way for a Sheet to passively earn $CELL and the only version available in Stage 1A. The user will be able to stake & unstake their Sheet Fighter whenever they want but only staked Sheet Fighters will earn $CELL.

Each user can have a max number of 10 sheets staked per wallet. This is to ensure fairness in distribution across the $CELL token.

THE BATTLE ARENA

The Battle Arena is where Sheet Fighters will battle with other Sheets and also be able to upgrade their Fighters.

With Phases 1B and 1C of Sheet Fighter, we will be launching the SHEET FIGHTER Polygon Portal which will allow the user to engage in gas heavy actions (multiple battles per day) in a much lower cost gas environment.

More on the SHEET FIGHTER Polygon Portal and Stages 1B & 1C at a later date. They are going to be very exciting but we are on team ‘under-promise, over-deliver’ so you’ll just have to wait.

TECHNICAL NOTES

Sheet Fighter is entirely on-chain.

That means that artwork and metadata is stored on-chain, without IPFS. That metadata includes your Sheet Fighter’s name, the SVG graphical components, the names of its GPT3 generated moves and numerical values which represent various stats.

When you mint your Sheet Fighter, its GPT-3 generated values, along with its randomly generated stats (attack, defense, etc.), are stored on the blockchain.

Sheet Fighter won’t just be on-chain, it’ll also be cross-chain.

We realize that our community likes the liquidity and robustness of Ethereum layer 1, but hates paying high gas fees. In an effort to give you the best of both worlds, Sheet Fighters are minted and sold on Ethereum, while proposed future actions, like upgrading, and fighting, take place on Polygon’s PoS side chain.

Sheets will be able to be transferred between Ethereum and Polygon at any time, unless they are actively engaged in a fight, or are being staked.

SHEET FIGHTER TEAM, PAYMENT & OWNERSHIP

The Sheet Fighter team is made up of four founders, some of whom at this moment wish to remain anonymous for various reasons. One founder, FonkyDonk, is well-known in multiple communities and has been particularly active in the Anonymice community since launch, including running MiceSpace the weekly TwitterSpaces show. Another founder, KC, is an artist, graphic designer, video editor, and early NFT adopter — with experience working for major brands in the entertainment industry. He’s been contributing artwork and collecting anonymously within the NFT community for over a year. Our main developer, Ittai is a long-time Solidity developer and former ETH miner, who was Core Team at ConstitutionDAO.

Sheet Fighter has been in the works for some time and the team has put in hundreds of hours to get this off the ground. In the interest of full transparency, below is the schedules of team payments along with what the post-launch wallet structure will look like:

MINT INCOME

The income derived from the Mint will be equally split into five accounts, one for each founder and one for the ‘Community Wallet’.

COMMUNITY WALLET

The Sheet Fighter Community Wallet will be used to fund all future Sheet Fighter development. This wallet will also be used to cover some initial costs Sheet Fighter already incurred prior to launch including the initial minting of 100 Sheets at launch for freelance team payments (30 or so) and future giveaways (70 or so).

FOUNDER PAYMENTS FROM MINT

Additionally, the four founders will take their payments from mint over the course of two months in a ‘vesting’ schedule as insurance to the community that we believe strongly in the growth of this project and continue to support it well beyond mint.

The three payments will vest as such:

⅓ to each founder upon project mint out

⅓ to each founder one month after mint out

⅓ to each founder two months after mint out

If the project fails to mint out within one month, the team will begin the schedule of payment at that point based on the split laid out above.

ROYALTY INCOME

Royalties on Sheet Fighter are 5% on all secondary sales.

The split on Royalties is different from the mint-split in order to favor a higher percentage of income going to the community wallet. This will allow the Community wallet to grow in size based on the success of the project on secondary markets. Again, all the money in the Community Wallet will be going towards the continued growth of the project itself.

The Royalties split will look like this:

40% Community Wallet

15% to each Sheet Fighter founder

Royalty payments will be made as they come in on secondary sales.

OWNERSHIP & DERIVATIVES

While the SHEET FIGHTER name and concept are owned by the creators of the project but each individual NFT is owned by whomever holds it and can be used in any way that owner sees fit.

We encourage any and all SHEET FIGHTER derivative projects and are happy to help support creative uses of your personal SHEET FIGHTER.

Have fun and we hope you take a Sheet.
