As a product designer in a customer support software company I always keep this point in mind “Customers are super smart and they dont need a support person unless or otherwise they really need them”.
Most of the shopping experience in India is like you go to a showroom and there are bouncers who welcome you and literally make you feel just get something asap and bill.
I am like. .Gosh .. I know what to pick and if i want help i ll call u.
But the problem with the businesses are they blindly follow volunteer customer service mode which is decade old.
Time to make every shop super smart and give whole lot of freedom to customers.
