We are pleased to announce our Public Beta Test. Details are as follows.

Overview of Public Beta Test

In the Public Beta Test, the Secret Network is Mainnet and Bitcoin is Testnet. SBTC and SNB used in the Beta Test are for testing purposes only, and have no practical value. The test schedule is limited to one week as follows.

Schedule

Start date and time: Saturday, January 22, 9:00 AM UTC

End date and time: Friday, January 28, 11:00 PM UTC

Rehearsal for Emergency Response

On the last day of the test, there will be a rehearsal of the emergency response by Core Dev and Trusted third parties in order to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of the protocol.

How to participate

1. Install a Kepler wallet and send some SCRT to it.

Install Keplr Wallet in Google Chrome on your PC and send some SCRT to it. Then, transfer SCRT (5-10 SCRT) to Keplr.

2. Create a bitcoin wallet and send some Testnet BTC to it.

Create a Testnet BTC wallet with a wallet application that supports Testnet.

Testnet wallet applications include Electrum and Bitcoin Core for desktop, Bitpay and Blockstream Green for mobile, and so on.

Then, transfer Testnet BTC (0.0005 BTC should be enough) to the wallet you created. Bitcoin Testnet Faucet is an option.

note:
Keplr wallet offers three levels of fee, however, in the Secret Network, selecting low fee may result in an underestimated fee and unsuccessful transactions. So, we recommend that you select ‘average’ when selecting fee.
