As a self-proclaimed tech novice, I never thought I’d find myself knee-deep in the land of algorithms and machine learning.

But here I am, determined to learn the ins and outs of A.I. and figure out what all the fuss is about.

And let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride so far.

I’ve spent hours trying to wrap my head around the concept of neural networks, only to end up more confused than when I started. And don’t even get me started on trying to decipher the difference between supervised and unsupervised learning.

But hey, I’m not giving up. I’ve got my trusty coffee mug and a can-do attitude, and about an hour spare every day to dive back in.

Who knows, maybe one day I’ll even be able to build my own robot butler to take out the bins. A man can dream, right?

The man who once warned us about the dangers of AI is now reportedly working on an in-house AI project with Twitter, and he’s not doing it half-heartedly either. According to sources, Musk has just bought a whopping 10,000 GPUs for one of Twitter’s data centres, indicating his commitment to the project.

But wait, there’s more. The project involves creating a generative AI that Twitter would train on its own data. It’s still unclear how the technology would be utilized, but it could potentially be a game-changer for Twitter’s search functionality or help in rebuilding its advertising business.

So what’s the deal, Elon? Didn’t you just sign an open letter calling for a six-month pause on AI development? Are you playing both sides here?

We can’t help but wonder what’s going on in Musk’s head. One minute he’s warning us about the dangers of AI, the next he’s hiring ex-DeepMind researchers and buying thousands of GPUs for a Twitter AI project. What’s the deal, man?

All we know is that Musk is not one to do things half-heartedly. If he’s investing this much into a Twitter AI project, it must be something big. And who knows? Maybe this is just the beginning of a new era in AI and social media.

So, which side is Elon really on? It’s hard to say. Maybe he’s just a man of contradictions. Or maybe he’s just trying to keep us on our toes. Whatever the case may be, one thing’s for sure — we can’t wait to see what happens next.
