August 2014 we started our journey to make a really great logging tool for strength training. Here we are, over one year later, and very excited about our launch: Sidekick Strength Training.

You use Sidekick at the gym, entering your weights and reps as you work out — over time, valuable insights start to emerge, and you gain knowledge about your strength training you never had before. Should you focus more on abs? Are your workouts actually shorter than what you aim for? Are you efficient when working our, or perhaps resting a bit too much? All of these questions (and tons more) can be answered by just glancing at Sidekicks beautiful insights view. When it comes to improving your strength, or achieving the physique you want, it’s about being consistent in your hard work, and learning what works. Keeping track of your progress is essential, and with Sidekick it’s done right.

Seeing as long-term commitment and consistency is key, we’ve focused a great deal on making sure you never lose your workout log. Sidekick synchronises your data but works offline, without compromise. We want to be clear on that the your workout log is.. well, yours. If you ever want your data in an Excel sheet or on paper, we’ll help you.
