Why should someone other than the writer be “wildly apologetic,” though? Saying that is, in its own way, no better than the article itself. I don’t have to apologize for the absurdity spouted by my own race any more than any other should have to of their own.

Placing the blame upon the shoulders of the entire race based upon one person’s action is precisely what this article condemns, and yet in the second paragraph you do precisely that.

Perhaps I’ve misunderstood that line, I certainly hope so, otherwise it ruins an otherwise well written piece.
