iDice: World’s First Ethereum Mobile-Centric Gambling Dapp

iDice is building a blockchain-based Gambling Platform.

The Company will hold a crowdsale between June 16th and June 30th. In this article, I will provide a short overview of iDice & their upcoming ICO.

What is iDice?

iDice is a fully decentralized online Dice gambling platform which is built on Ethereum Network and powered by blockchain technology. iDice is aiming to become the best open source platform for decentralized gambling that offers a smooth and reliable user experience without sacrificing the users safety and security. This is an area where traditional gambling platforms & casinos has failed.

Unlike other traditional gambling platforms where bet results can easily be manipulated by the owners through their server, iDice will provide a transparent and highly secured gambling experience for everyone who plays on their platform. All bets placed at iDice are easily verified via a smart contract which is publicly available.

iDice makes this possible by using Oraclize.it to retrieve a random integer supplied by Random.org via TLSNotary (A Cryptographic proof of online accounts & activities). The iDice smart contract then encrypts the integer provided by Random.org and the TLSNotary proof to compute the bet result.

This method is the safest and most reliable method for iDice to generate random numbers without 3rd party interference of the game’s final result.

Users do not need an online account or any deposit as they can easily play games offered by iDice using ETH from the safety of their own wallets. This improves the usability and safety of users.

Which games can I play at iDice?

For now, Users will be able to play Dice game at iDice platform. Other games such as BlackJack, Slot and Roulette will be added soon.

What makes iDice Standout from other gambling platforms?

iDice is the fastest growing Dice game to date. The Beta release of iDice has generated nearly $200,000 USD worth of ETH in user profits without any promotional effort or SEO.

iDice Crowdsale

iDice tokens will created during the initial coin offering which is scheduled to start on June 16th, 2017 and will last for exactly 14 days.

During the crowdsale, 4,500,000 iDice tokens will be offered for sale. These tokens are created proportionally to the amount of ETH funds received and no more iDice tokens will ever be created after the crowdsale which ends at 30th June 2017.

To participate in iDice ICO Crowdsale, Investors are required to send ETH to the iDice Smart Contract address (This will be available when the ICO starts) and will receive an equivalent number of iDice tokens in return.

Investors are also advised to send their ETH contributions from a wallet that they own the private keys. Such wallets includes Mist, MyEtherWallet or Parity.
