Between what you’ve written above and Nintendo all-but-shunning disabled gamers (as written in Mark Brown’s Medium article here), it’s almost as if Nintendo are actively pushing away anyone who isn’t the typical child/teen gamer.

I get that Iwata’s RedMed software wasn’t exactly setting their stock on fire (which is an entirely different conversation of healthcare being “not profitable” to private entities), but after more than a century in business — 30+ years of which they’ve been the video game company —Nintendo should know better.
