Tim’s Revenge

Hey, welcome back, hope you enjoyed the first installment of M-Commnity, looking back at December 2015.

It is only the first week of 2016, but I thought I would jump right in, as things are not likely to get more off the hook than the events of the first week, here in the Medium underbelly.

The story starts off months before this, however, when the trusting and well-intentioned Editors of Crossing Genres established a relationship with ‘Just-in Youngboys’, or ‘Forest’, which was an ironic choice considering how much he missed the trees.

CG published pieces of his, under the pretense his taboo thoughts were based upon an education and credentials he may have completely fabricated. Sometimes the writer can get lost in the character, particularly if they offer a more powerful life.

Little did the Editors realize that this early relationship was the first part of the seduction, allowing his Trojanless Horse, Ender, the opportunity to act out writing fantasies, spreading germs of misguided longings, under the pretense of being a ‘virtuous pedophile’ (even quotations shudder forcing those 2 concepts together).

Luckily, Kamil has competition for best Medium Detective, as another great writer and astute reader, David Montgomery, noticed the similarities of form, as well as shadows of perversion, lurking in the previous posts of JF.

The charade for Justin Truth bEnder exploded quickly, as the former moral Challenger jettisoned off the Medium planet, in a huff of smoke that had almost gone up many of our asses. His Twitter account has gone silent as well. Houston, he has a problem.

Naturally, since the individuals editing CG actually trade in real morality, they felt and expressed a significant amount of anger, guilt, disbelief and gradual acceptance that the deed had almost been done. It is interesting in some respects that these are the very stages of recovery many victims of abuse experience, so effective was Justin’s violation of their professional trust. I can’t imagine the sense of violation had it been physical or sexual.

On a deeper level, it is troubling that the Editors would even entertain the same position many trauma victims occupy, which entails no small mixture of confusion and self blame. It is troubling because it illustrates in many ways how the minds of self justifying sociopaths work, compared to people not attracted to children. It is troubling that Justin can feel no guilt or remorse, but rather pride in his self description as virtuous, while at the same time others, only touched by his words, can feel such heavy moral weight, perhaps fighting self loathing at the mere association.

It is my belief that the Editors have done nothing more wrong, than take a chance with a ‘budding writer’.

It is equally troubling that Justin would, on one hand, have us believe he would never act on his perverse fantasies. And after ‘convincing’ some of this, would then engage in the practice of deception, intimidation, and obnoxious ‘charm’ that many pedophiles use, when grooming future victims.

Please Recommend if you enjoyed this article, or peruse another one and convince yourself to follow my writing. I will probably also follow yours, unless your first name rhymes with fender.
