I’m giving this sentence the full 21 gun salute! (that’s a lot for a Canadian to say!). I’m a Coach with marginalized youth, where it’s often a case of starting at a disadvantage for these kids. A lot of all-or-nothing thinking takes place. I start with mindset, giving youth a framework for approaching improvement. Working smarter, not harder allows for 10x the output. It’s not half assed, it’s being creative! It’s being a critical thinker, taking on problems and solving for a solution through creating action steps. Gives them the ability to measure their own success.
