This is certainly no small feat. The longer you’re in a job, the less curious you become. It’s a matter of circumstance and natural mindset.
Becoming complacent is a sure fire way to end up hating your job, or losing “passion.”
I went through and still am to an extent struggling with lack of curiosity in my current job. It’s incredibly hard.
I’ve taken to writing in a journal, touching on what I’m grateful for (work and home) and reflecting on what went well in my day. I write my next days action steps the night before. It allows me to remain productive. I can leave work feeling content. It has instilled a new sense of curiosity as my day has become a series of challenges.
