- Always ask how to spell his or her name.
- Job title (Ask for business card.)
- Where the interview is taking place

Ways to Interview
- In Person: more probing questions, better understanding, more trust, gathering more information from being with a person
- Email: written word, lacks non-verbals, context, insures accurate quotes, tell your audience it was in email form
- Phone: second best to in person, still personal interaction
- Social Media: verification, ask him or her to call
