Ahh, and what a delightful Catch-22 you’ve invoked.

We are told we must be beautiful over and over.

When we receive the compliment, we are shallow, vain, “predatory,” through some kind of distorted lens that views women as mere bargainers over the property that is their body and we’re trying to jilt you for more than we’re worth.

If we reject the compliment, well, we are bitches, cold, catty, fat, ugly, through yet another distorted lens that feels the purchaser has been denied their product.

Damn if we do, damned if we don’t, but you don’t care.

You just don’t view women in general as full human beings. What hope could you have to view trans woman in a favourable light?
