I’m not a woman. I just assume they experience a number of issues by virtue of being a woman — pay gap, cultural treatment, biological processes, societal pressures, reproduction . . . and on and on.

Right… and trans women experience 3 of 5 of those pressures in much the same way, and are still affected by the other two in ways that are oppressed, if not the same way as cis women. So why is it valid (your word) to exclude trans women from womanhood? Does one need to hit 80% to “count”?
