The problem with this statement is that you’re imaging transgender people as having a consistent look, a monolithic property that you can evaluate. That is why these completely unnecessary declarations are interpreted as prejudice. You’re literally pre-judging.

Here’s Kim Petras:

Cute, isn’t she? I’m attracted to women too and I’d do things with her (with her consent, obviously) that are criminal in Saudi Arabia, if you know what I mean.

And I bet you’re thinking the same. If the only reason your opinion changes is because of some invisible aspect that clearly did not affect your opinion of her before, then yeah, it’s bigoted.

I am married to someone wonderful so am not planning to ever have to face this dilemma first hand.

And yet you felt the need to declare how unattractive trans women are to you. For no apparent reason.

Physician, heal thyself.
