So, today, we are going to shed some light on the subject and give you a few tips to keep your chair in near-mint condition, which in turn, will give your chair the longest life for you and your business.

General Maintenance.

First, let’s start with some regular chair maintenance tips for every week or so. Now, although we know you are busy, by doing regular maintenance on your chair will give it the longest life possible. So, once a week make sure to set out about 15–20 minutes to love your chair. And we promise, by doing so, your chair will love you back.

For upholstery or leather.

• Lightly brush and/or vacuum the upholstery
• Dust the leather surfaces with a soft, clean cloth.

For vinyl chairs.

• To remove dirt and smudges from the vinyl, use a solution of mild soap and a little bit of warm water, and finish it off by drying with a soft. lint-free cloth.

For wood chair or wood finishes.

• When cleaning wood finish or wood chair, make sure to use a damp, not wet, cloth or sponge, and wipe it dry with a clean cotton cloth, as this will give it a nice finished look to it. However, it is important to remember to wipe in the direction of the wood grain, otherwise, it will ruin the wood and take years off its lifespan

For all chairs.

As nasty as it may sound, you need to clean your casters. What are casters you ask? Well, it is the wheels on your chairs. Now, over long periods of time, your wheels will collect hair, dirt and a whole number of other disgusting things. But, unless you clean them, it will negatively affect how your chair moves, especially on hard surfaces.

• To remove all this nastiness, just use your regular old household cleaning solution, like Formula 409庐 or something similar, and take a good scrubber or even a toothbrush and lightly scrub it until stuff comes off. Once finished, wipe with a paper towel and it’ll be grand.
• Every six months or so, you always want to tighten any bolts or screws on your chair, because this will not only ensure that the chair will stay intact for future use, but it will also ensure you and your chairs safety.

The Importance of Cleaning Your Chairs.

Although it may seem like a minor thing to clean and maintain your chair, however, we both know that your chair will most likely be a representation of you. That being said, if you are in an office-based setting, where you have all sorts of meetings and people popping in and out, more often than not, they will see your chair. And if they see your chair, they will be looking to see how you take care of it.
