6 Tips to Supercharge your Collaboration inside Skarpline

Skarpline cards are Powerful, Flexible and Unique. They open up a new world of collaboration for you and your team. Here are some of our favorite tips how to leverage and benefit from using cards.
1. Everything can be stored as a card
A card in Skarpline can either be a file, a link, an integration or a folder on your page. Since everything on the web is a link, anything can be stored as a card inside Skarpline.
Everything you see on your Main Page is unique to you. Your team members will see the cards you share, but you will all have different Main pages. Some might have integrations. Others might have files. Other yet have links.

2. Share cards with a drag-and-drop
You can share your cards internally with team members and externally to your contacts.
Simply drag a card to a person, or a group of persons, to share it. Alternatively, click on the card and select the person you would like to add in the sidebar and click Save.

3. See who has access to your cards
Some cards are owned by you and others by your team members. The avatar on the card reveals who is the owner. If an owner deletes a card, it will be deleted for others. If you delete a card, which is owned by another person, it’s only removed on your side.
To see who has access to a card, click the avatar on the card. This will show who has access to the card. Opening the card will also show who has access to the card.

4. Notifications appear on the top level
You can group cards in folders. You can add folders inside folders and create a hierarchy of cards as you desire. All notifications on cards appear on the top folder for fast visual recognition.

5. Version Control on Files
Upload multiple versions of the same file on a Skarpline card. You can easily retrieve past versions of the file card by clicking on the file name in the topbar. To add a new version of a file, simply click the Version icon in the input bar.

6. Powerful Search
Finding a card is faster and more visual in Skarpline than having to look for the title alone as in most other applications. Skarpline automatically generates a screenshot of the file or a preview of the website where possible.
You can also leverage our search by searching for the name of a card. Our powerful search will identify cards across all folders on the main page.
