Like many of the agencies that run modern society, they are reactive, instead of proactive. This is exactly what needs to change in order for change to be sustainable. And I’m not talking about ending terrorist witch hunts, mass surveillance, and foreign wars although those are prime examples. I’m talking about the underlying systemic and systematic issue of being lazy and withholding action for the sake of self-benefit. This is what is unethical and must be frequently addressed, by the public, far beyond this story.
