Christmas absolutes
Things that are a part of Christmas for me.
Christmas Absolutes. (These things are non-negotiable with me):
We need more Balloons and fewer musical acts in the Macy’s Parade.
Die Hard is a Christmas Movie.
I like both Miracle on 34th Street movies.
Christmas lights do not go up till after Thanksgiving.
Christmas Cards are still relevant.
Stocking Stuffers do not count against the present total. ( But you still have to have them).
Egg Nog rocks!
Charlie Brown Christmas is a must.
Alan Rickman’s character cheated on Emma Thompson’s character in Love Actually. (Mia, the secretary). I don’t care. I still like the movie, and both Mia and Natalie are hot.
I’m not too fond of the Christmas Vacation movie. Same with Home Alone.
No Hallmark Christmas movies. Not a one.
I miss Old Frothingslosh. (IYKYK).
White Christmas. No arguments- must watch.
At least one gift must be bought on Christmas Eve, although I do think the Germans have the right idea: shop early, drink prosecco the rest of the morning, and close the stores at 2 p.m.
