The French scientist that did the study on the rats was in a reviewed scientific journal. He had to go in front of a board to pass his research. They checked for misleading data, repetition, and possible error in experimentation. They passed his research without flaw. Immediately he was thrown into the limelight and scrutinized by Monsanto (manufacturer of RoundUp)

Within the following year of publication, his research was retracted by Food and Chemical Toxicology. Just before the retraction, the journal had received a new associate editor by the name is of Richard Goodman, a former Monsanto employee.

Seralini’s story did not go unheard. Many in the scientific community did not ignore the most obvious oppression of scientific research. Just recently this year, the journal removed Goodman. Finally a win for the scientific community.
