An Open Letter to Millennials Like Talia…
Stefanie Williams

Another self-centered, self-righteous, self-aggrandizing response to another’s difficult times. It seems that’s all social media can produce most days.

Congratulations, Stefanie Williams, on your modest amount of success. Yes, we all go through hard times and slow starts, but eventually we get through them (or we don’t.) When we do, we can get a little cocky, as you seem to have, forgetting that luck and timing are often huge factors in our success, and that they can also play huge roles in our losses. Then we fall on hard times again, and things aren’t so clear. (I wonder if after your divorce and the failure of your first 5 pilots that same sense of self-assuredness will be so sharp. It wasn’t for me after similar happenings. I guess time will tell.)

You should write an article that’s not about you and addresses the issues brought up by a separate human. It’ll be good practice for a writer.

Best of continued luck.
