Communication & Communicating: A Lesson in Signals and Intelligence
I want to address a couple ways to look at communication at it’s highest level and then I’ll dive a little deeper into the mores and beliefs around it. Then, we’ll get into a motif of signals to illustrate survival, and then even discuss assumptions, perception, status, intention, and reality.
Perception, assumption, status, intention, reality.
Let’s take an example of a couple of signals that we chose to use when we are in our cars, and what they serve. Here are two simple ones: turn signals ans break lights.
What is a signal? Power of signaling to make intelligent decisions ie using turn signals in your car alert other drivers on how to operate their vehicles and make choices
By signaling improperly, incorrectly or with poor timing, you don’t give the message off to other people on the road to and how to make decisions. Assuming and assumptions are very dangerous. We’ve stop caring and we stop caring how we signal others about what we’re doing for the effect of other people
