Try living across the street from a flop house full of young drug users. I have two parking spaces in front of the house, long enough for 2 vehicles.

And they put one vehicle in BOTH of them. The landlord asked them to stop it, so they plopped a car with expired tags right on both spaces, the passenger door perfectly lined up with the front door of the house. Douchebaggy spite. The car had jumper cables and jacks all over the back seat, like they “just got it moving” just for the purpose is sticking it in front of the house.

And the county just towed it this morning.

A different vehicle every time. Different people coming and going every time. Brainlessly parking in two spots, every time. Brainless people.

Sometimes I hear their disingenuous hyena-like drug addict laugh.

Now the landlord is going to stick an extra vehicle in both spots to spite them back, and I’m going to park a little over the edge of the driveway, something they would get towed if they did.

People are brainless. That’s the crux of the article. It’s not the noise, it’s the unnecessary noise. It’s brainlessness. And open displays of brainlessness are open displays of “why we can’t have anything nice”. So it’s grating.

If we can reign in this “system” that for some reason requires all “real jobs” to be sequestered in these brainless cities so that companies can say “you know, that small town out there, given modern communications tech, would be a great place to put that office” and we could spread out… oh wait, the brainless vote in environmental and zoning laws to prevent us from spreading out.

It’s like they have a fetish about being insufferable and forcing us to live alongside them. They even want everybody riding the bus with them.
