Why do you use the app? Are you hoping to meet people with any specific profile?

I’m relatively new to Hong Kong and would like to expand my personal and professional network. Smartcasual seems like a great way to meet like-minded people in your city. I’m hoping to meet other entrepreneurs or people with big, hairy, audacious ideas.

I’ve met Sam Ameen from Help Market Me and Nigel Hembrow from Astronaut Technologies.

What can you offer other people who meet you?

Someone to bounce ideas off. My experience with starting up businesses, growing a business/team. General banter on travel, food, entrepreneurship, the weather or anything that tickles your fancy.

Has anything positive for your business come out of any of your meetings?

Yes, it’s always good to meet new people and hear their perspectives on your business.
