Whatsapp Dark Mode is a feature that has been in the news for almost a year now. There have been some unofficial UI leaks of the new darkbattery saving‘ mode but the official launch of one of the most sought after the feature has not been revealed yet. Almost every major application like Gmail, Google Chrome and even Facebook’s Messenger has a dark mode now, and we can no longer wait for WhatsApp to switch from the default green color to a darker greyish color.

However, if you are in a hurry and can’t wait for the official roll-out of the dark mode then there is a workaround that will allow you to switch the color of the messenger app easily. If you are an Android user, you need to be running the Android Q beta on your device. On the other hand, iOS users need to be on iOS 11.

How to Enable Dark mode in Whatsapp Messenger App

As of March 3, 2020, dark mode is rolling out to all WhatsApp users around the globe. Even better, enabling it is very simple. Here’s what you need to do.

That’s it! You should now have the dark mode set up for the messaging service. Dark mode looks particularly good on WhatsApp because of the green accents that are present throughout the interface, and they bring a bit of visual flair to the app.

I’ve had dark mode enabled for over a week now, and it makes a huge difference in how you use the service. It’s easier on the eyes, and if you have an Android 10 phone and set dark mode system-wide, there’s better visual consistency.

WhatsApp’s Dark mode uses a dark gray background and not a true black one. So, the battery savings will be minimal. Nonetheless, it should still help reduce eye strain and make it easier to read long conversations.

With Dark mode now finally making its way to application, what other features do you think the messaging service needs to add? Drop a comment and let us know!

it’s an easy mode for WhatsApp going to dark mode.the new technology is best for India and another country.
