Captain America: Civil War review
A potential change in policy may tear apart earth’s mightiest heroes.

This movie. I really didn’t know what to expect. This movie was getting insanely good review, but most Marvel movies usually do. I liked Age of Ultron, but was just a little bit of a disappointment. There was a lot to get excited about and I walked into this movie with high hopes.
Look, I don’t think you guys read my reviews because you want to see me agree with everyone. I assume that you guys truly want my own personal opinion. I’m not gonna lie to you. You’ve heard everyone else praise this movie, you’ve see the Rotten Tomatoes score, and now I’m going to tell you what I think…and I really do have to be completely honest with. I actually LOVED THIS MOVIE! It feels so good to say that! NO SPOILERS!
This movie is actually a real movie filled with interesting characters. Everyone gives a solid performance and the chemistry in this film is simply incredible. Chris Evans is at the height of his powers in this film. Robert Downey Jr. was also great. This was a disturbed and guilty Tony Stark, and it was great! Scarlett Johansson has annoyed me in almost every Marvel movie, but not here! Look, I know what you guys want me to talk about…

Oh yeah. These guys were AWESOME! Black Panther, man! I can not wait to see his solo movie! Tom Holland? Tom Holland IS Spider-Man! I loved these guys!
This movie is two hours and thirty minutes long and I didn’t check my watch once! This film felt very real and in your face in the best way. If you’ve been getting excited about that airport scene…you ain’t seen nothing yet! The Russo’s direction of this film is solid.
Now, you’re walking into this film and you’ve probably picked a side. Well, you won’t need to! This film perfectly shows both sides of the coin, and so when the action is going down you’re very much emotionally engaged. This is some of the best writing that we have seen out of Marvel.
One of my favorite elements about this film is that I believed that this is how the world would react to the Avengers if they were real people. I believed it! This world felt so real and that was due to how well written these characters are!
Also, without any spoilers…Ant-Man. Yes. Yes. Just yes.
Now does this movie have flaws. In my opinion yes, but they are such minor nitpicks, and they aren’t worth bringing up. The good really outweighs the bad in this movie and the issues are so little. I would bring them up but they are minor spoilers. If you’ve seen the movie, read below.
This might be the best Marvel movie, this is the best Captain America movie, this is the best Spider-Man in twelve years (I feel old now) years, and I can’t recommend this movie enough!
Captain America: Civil War-A
This is currently my second favorite film of the year. Let’s see how it holds up after the summer.

Skull and Crossbones felt like a cartoon character in this movie. It just didn’t feel like they needed to bring him back.
Elizabeth Olsen did a good job as Scarlet Witch, but her accent was a little rough.
When Ant-Man became Giant-Man…brilliant.
