Into the Woods is a gorgeous musical that strongly influences and comforts me.
Each time I act in this show, listen to the soundtrack, or watch clips on YouTube I learn something new.Throughout my adult life this play has taught me so much about the world around me.
Most Relatable Lines:
- “Nice is different than good.”
- “I was raised to be charming not sincere.”
- “Stay at home. I am home. Who out there can love you more than I? What out there that I can not supply?”
- “Must it all be either less or more?
Either plain or grand?
Is it always "or?"
Is it never "and?" - “Opportunity is not a lengthy visitor”
- “Near may be better than far but it still isn’t there.”
- “Someone is on your side. No is alone.”
Pretty much this entire show. These are just some lines that have been running in my mind.
