The only challenges to democracy I have witnessed lately are the attempts to remove, in any way possible, a legitimately elected leader and the unquestioned assertions by those on the left that they are on the side of good (and thus should always win). Call it a crazy dream but I look forward to us one day actually looking at problems honestly and applying the best solution regardless of where it may fall along the ideological spectrum.
