In defense of destructive protests
Rachel Silverstein

LOVE this! One thing that has been driving me around the bend recently is the attitude that if there is any violence, or property damage, or even too much of a mess left, that the whole reason that people are protesting becomes invalid.
We are too damn caught up in discussing the “proper” way to protest that we end up ignoring the WHY of the protest.
It’s rather disgusting.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
