You are your mother’s son.. and loved wholly and completely.. as you should be.

We all break our mother’s hearts… that is part of what parenthood is.. having one’s heart broken.. and mended… and broken … and mended.

I had just 14 years with my beloved Mum… there hasn’t been a day since I have not missed her. I am still my mother’s daughter… even though I am older than she lived to be.

You survived because she imparted an inner strength it took you many roads to find. You are in many ways passing that strength to others… and as she would be proud of you.. so you need to be proud of you too. She would want that.

And yes.. you do have your mother’s eyes.

Live long and live well … that is the only debt we owe to our parents.. to live well in Spirit.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
