Season 2 will be… *drum rolls* Tribe Season!
Season 1 was all about making the most out of the SoMon mobile app, sharing your thoughts and pictures on your favourite communities, and enjoying the vibes!
This time, in Season 2, SoMon Tribe creators and community builders will enjoy a BIGGER share of the $OwO airdrop pie!
Ultimately, SoMon’s vision is that your Tribe becomes a real Web3 namecard. Those Tribes are on-chain, and nobody will ever separate you from your community and followers. They are your crew, your gang, your clique, and those Tribes can be also used and transferred in other future OpenSocial-powered apps! If you are an influent member of the community, that’s even better since your influence will perdure across apps on OpenSocial!

Season 2 — Phase 1: A New Beginning

Before listing down the future quests to secure your Season 2 airdrop, a couple of good news and nice updates:
- 🎉 Your gas tank will be refilled to US$1 (Yes, you asked for it, we heard your feedback!)
- 🎉 You’ll inherit the same League as at the end of Season 1: once a King, always a King!
- 🎉 You’ll be able to claim a Weekly Badge every Friday, which will make you eligible for a special share of the Season 2 $OwO airdrop!
- 🎉 The $OwO you will receive from Season 1 will be displayed on your SoMon in-app wallet!
- 🎉 Memberships from Season 1 are reset to 0, but OwOG NFT benefits are here forever and still double your number of Points!
Season 2 — Phase 2: A Quest Called Tribe
Some new exciting challenges are coming up this Tribe Season, here they are!
Reminder: Any user can create and own a Tribe on the topic of his choice on the SoMon app, and rally his friends and more like-minded people to grow their community!
🛡️ Tribe Quests:
- Tribe Owners — Each new app member joining your Tribe = 4 Points [capped at 50 times/day]
- Regular app users — Joining a Tribe = 4 Points [capped at 10 times/day]
The two quests above mean that just creating a Tribe isn’t enough: you must build it and grow it with like-minded people to make a community as vibrant as possible!
💰$OwO Token Holders:
- Claiming $OwO = 50 Points
- Holding $OwO on your in-app wallet or EOA wallet (Metamask, Coinbase…) = 1 Point for every 50 $OwO
These quests above mean that the more you HODL, the more you get rewarded!

Season 2 — Upgrades To Expect
We’re actively listening to your feedback, and here are some amazing updates awaiting SoMon users!
- Tribe Guest Mode: When an external user clicks on on a Tribe link, they will be able to view the Tribe content!
- Tribe Roles: Tribe Owners will be able to promote users of their choice as admins in the group. That role will be minted on-chain and will make the community truly yours!
- Tribe Posting Rights: Tribe Owners can set and decide which roles will be able to post within the Tribe. This will allow Tribe content to be cleaner and more relevant.
- Leaderboard History: Yes, we heard you again! After popular demand, we’re thrilled to share that you will be able to check out Leaderboard results from the previous week.

Last But Now Least: Season 2 $OwO Airdrop
As mentioned in our tokenomics article, SoMon will be releasing the $OwO token supply on a monthly/season basis, at a pace of 1% of the total supply per month, in the form of airdrop for the community!
