Amazon Prime members based in the United States will now be able to invite up to five other friends to use Prime Photos. The group then has access to what is called the Family Vault, a shared folder containing each person’s photos and video.

Photos are first stored in a person’s private folder, before the option to add to the family vault becomes available. The storage is completely unlimited for Amazon Prime members. Amazon is looking to compete in the iCloud market by Apple which offers paid storage across their devices.
