Elton John Retiring From Performing After Latest Tour

The legendary singer announced the three-year long tour will kick off in September. “I’ve been touring since I was 17 with various bands. I thought the time is right to say thank you to all my fans and say goodbye.” Elton John (CNN)

The tour is called “Farewell Yellow Brick Road,” but John still plans to make more albums.

John, 70, said that priorities changed once he had children with his husband, David Furnish. The star is also set to perform a duet with Miley Cyrus at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
