Firefox plans to win over Google Chrome users with new browser

Google Chrome came on the scene back in 2011 and has now become arguably the most powerful browser on the web. But Mozilla Firefox has plans to reel in Chrome users with its new Quantum browser. The Mozilla team worked to make switching between tabs smoother, recommending stories based on sites you frequent, and a read-it-later service.

“Our designers created a system that scales to more than just current hardware but lets us expand in the future.” — SVP Mark Mayo explains in a post.

Windows, Mac and Linux users can check out the new and improved browser now, but an iOS and Android version won’t be available until later.
