Dear Iraq and Afghanistan Vets,

First and foremost, thank you for your service!

I love our soldiers and veterans and post daily to honor and feature their service on my veteran tribute page, Comes A Soldier’s Whisper and other related social media. I have published books about WWII and Vietnam and now working on a book for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans to share their service experience.

My ancestors fought in the Civil War and my father was a decorated 101st Airborne paratrooper during WWII. My former spouse is a Vietnam Vet and my brother a Gulf War Vet. All stories are told with honor and dignity, compassion and understanding.
The focus of this book is to share your words, memories, and wartime experiences, some of which may invoke anger, sadness and a hopefully a healing in the process.

It is also my heartfelt desire to explore and educate Americans on the home front to try to understand the soldier’s path and return home again.
