HE NEVER SPOKE MUCH ABOUT IT

My dad was in the U.S. Navy Pacific theatre during WWII.

His name was Ellis May, Jr. and he served in the U.S Navy in WWII in the middle and South Pacific between 1943 and 1946 and then later with the U.S. Navy Reserves. Dad’s final resting place is in Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Dad was like the rest of the good men from that day and age. He never spoke too much about it. All he ever said was at times it was hell on earth. Sorry the pictures aren’t any better but it’s all I have of him.
