How to choose your career path?
When the National Society of High Scholars asked 18.000 Americans, age 15 to 29 to rank their future ideal employers the results were: the most wanted employers were Google, Apple and Facebook, but also the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency.

This says a lot about the Millennials’ preferences and what they believe is important in life. The first three companies show that Millennials follow the trends of innovations, and the last three preferred companies show that they want to be included in “saving” world’s security and creating a better future for the people.

The Big companies that they wish to work for offer flexible schedule, innovations and opportunities for learning. For the Millennials there is nothing less important than the financial or any kind of security; instead the most important things for these young people are the professional fulfillment and opportunities that will enrich their life.
Although, they are aware of the opportunities and know which type of life and career they want to have, still, they all ask the same question: How to find the perfect job? How to fulfill my dreams? Many entrepreneurs, famous people, CEO’s and internet moguls have millions of advices that they share with the people on how to have a career and become rich and famous.
Here is a sum up of the most important things that every Millennial should do in order to find and keep the “dream job”:
- Decide what you want to do: Find what you want and stick to it. If you don’t have the skills to do it, try to find ways to learn it or to improve your skills for that field.
- Network: Communicate with people same interests, preferably that are involved or work in those companies that you want to work for/with.
- Patience: Everything that has any worth does not come easy. Work for it, make constant improvements and do not give up. There is a chance waiting behind every corner, even if you don’t see it.
- Learn: Do not be afraid to learn. Employers today are searching for people that want to learn and grow in what they do.
- Engage: Give a 100 percent of yourself in what you want to do, show the world what are you capable of and expect nothing in return. Eventually, the hard work will pay off — the money and recognitions will be satisfactory.
