I think you can see the difference. I agree that we should speak out against those who commit violence in our midst. But Talia, an American citizen born and raised here, is no more responsible for ISIS than I, a white man, am for Dylann Roof, the white supremacist who killed the worshipers at a South Carolina Christian church.
