What Happens When Black People Say “Black Lives Matter”
Black People: “Black lives matter.”
White People: “*CLUTCH THE PEARLS* I’m going to add an imaginary ‘only’ to the beginning of that phrase so that I can be outraged and have an excuse to openly express that I don’t think black lives matter at all, and demand that you verbally add and write the already-implied ‘too’ to the end of that statement because my feelings are made out of snowflakes and they melt into white tears when faced with inalienable truths!”
