Hi, thanks for explaining the difference between pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. The author had the latter and was on the verge of heading to seizures, and then likely coma and death. That’s the knowledge that her doctors had, which is why they recommended to her a course of action to save her life. Perhaps decisions like these should be left to the medical professionals and the women involved?
