Congratulations!

Hey! So this is a congratulatory post for myself and for you also. Why am I congratulating you? We'll find out below 🙂.

I had always been into writing, short stories, and poems. This goes as far back as ten years ago. But guess what? I only got to start my journey as a publishing writer yesterday. I released a collection of poetry and boy does it feel good! I mean, finally! So I’m congratulating myself for this journey that I have started, which had been in the works for quite a long time. Now, let’s congratulate YOU 🍾. Congratulations on being where you are now. It might not have been easy, but here you are. Congratulations on not giving up. I do not know what you have going on for yourself, but I believe we all have dreams, and I believe we’re all pushing for them. You might not have made any progress in a while, but every now and then you still think about those dreams. You still have your eyes on them, congratulations. Congratulations on your little victories. Let me say that again. CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR LITTLE VICTORIES! It’s befitting that your little victories get a bold congratulatory message, because it’s those little victories that eventually make you hit the jackpot. I know it sounds like a broken record when we say little drops of water make a mighty ocean, but broken or not, the tunes are gold. This gold will make you rich if you keep it. Gather up your small victories, those little baby steps in the direction of where you’re headed. Document them, reminisce about them if they’re past and you haven’t accomplished much lately, and move ahead. But before you move ahead, celebrate those victories dear.

In football, the goal is to win the tournament, but the players celebrate every match they win. Even smaller, they celebrate every goal they score that leads to that win, which in turn leads to winning the tournament. It’s a process dear, love yourself while at it. Don’t beat yourself up because you’re not "there" yet. You’re getting there, and that’s definitely something.

So once again, congratulations on being where you are now, at this very moment. Congratulations, because where you are is a testament to your progress. If you’ve gotten here from where you’re coming from, you’re definitely going to get where you’re going from here. Congratulations.
