Mountain View Chamber of Commerce Selects Sophie Alcorn for Board
We’re pleased to announce that the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce has selected founder Sophie Alcorn to join its Board of Directors. She will begin serving her first three-year term on Jan. 1, 2021. Congrats, Sophie!

The Mountain View Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors is composed of business, non-profit, and educational leaders. The Chamber’s mission is to support and protect the city’s economy and diverse communities. Established in 1922, the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce represents some of the biggest employers in Silicon Valley and some of its most innovative startups, including Google, Microsoft, Intuit, LinkedIn, Waymo, Pure Storage, and Study.com.
In 2017, the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce named Sophie the Outstanding Young Business Person of the Year. She is a graduate of Leadership Mountain View, Class of 2016 (best class ever!).
