Create and Disrupt
Sometimes, taking a moment to create something different allows for innovate ideas
We recently read an article about the lack of design or UX for most B2B applications, especially in Lawtech and Fintech, something we are actively solving in order to improve workflows.
Design is fundamental to user experience and a key part of our “USP”, in addition to “findability”. Managing files takes time, but it doesn’t have to be so “functional”.
Like all start ups, we are disruptive and being creative is a big part of that. In order to maintain that, we encourage our team to take time to create or discuss something “cool” and being part of the WeWork community is amazing as it really gives us the space to do that.
Having a canvas for walls is awesome. It makes our space more enjoyable, dynamic, fun and inspiring. Although I have seen some people use the novelty of it, a bit differently…
I remember this one guy staring at the glass with his laptop in one hand and a pen in the other. He was staring at it with deep concentration. I could feel he was onto something game changing. He looked at his screen and brought his pen up to the wall but then paused, just as the pen met the glass, like a couple ready to kiss for the first time. Then he drew a circle on the wall, ready to capture an idea. I stopped my work and focused on him. I wanted to witness the genius…..
Then, inside the circle, he wrote “Money”, turned to his colleague and said, how do we get this? 😂😂😂…. I promise I’m not making this up!
It was so funny, I knew I was in the right place! Hopefully, if we keep making the most of our resources, we won’t have to ask that question!
